This kind of snake has one of the most impressive defensive displays!
It actually took some time to get this snake to stay put. It kept wanting to crawl away rather than "play" with us.
This picture shows why it wasn't in the mood at all. The milky-blue coloration of the eyes indicates that it was in a shed cycle (a time when snakes don't want to be messed with at all). |
