This watersnake got a much bigger bite than it could handle! As soon as it swallowed a leg, it seemed to figure out that the Bullfrog was much too large to injest. It released the frog and both animals went on their way.
(I had my camera shutter speed set way wrong, so I had to salvage what I could from very dark digital negatives.) |
